We booked a 2 week vacation in Vietnam and Cambodia with Smile Tourist on line. From start to finish they were flawless! They were the first travel agency to respond to my email and continued prompt correspondence from my initial inquiry. (During our booking process, our key point of contact left the organization, and my correspondence was picked up immediately, continuing without a hitch.) They always responded within 12 hours. I submitted a tentative agenda which they suggested modifying, rightly so. During the trip, we were met on time, every time, by the guides and excellent drivers. We were asked for written feedback by each new guide. Each guide emphasized that this was our vacation, and they were flexible when we wanted to make changes during the day (like the day we had had enough sightseeing and just wanted to spend the day at the hotel pool). I felt like they were there to meet our expectations. One guide pushed back on something we thought we might want to skip, that she felt we shouldn't miss, and she was right. All spoke excellent English. I appreciated that the guides did not eat with us and therefore we were not surprised with unexpected food costs. I am going to recommend toSmile Tourist that they give tipping guidelines, because we were unsure about that. We felt very safe. Immediately upon arrival in Hanoi, our guide gave us our first lesson: how to cross the street safely (no kidding...it was great advice.)The hotels were as we requested and were excellent. I admit I was nervous booking a trip with a non-US based agency, but my fears were unfounded. I have the highest commendation for Smile Tourist. Our trip was fantastic, and met all our expectations.
