| Tony Mathias 2011.11.17 | A lovely hotel in the old quarter! We were wondering what we had let ourselves in for as we walked down a dark alley late at night to check in but were welcomed with a lovely sight as the hotel is modern and clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried! We were given a delicious fruit juice on arrival and hotel staff explained everthing about the hotel, Hanoi, trips etc. We used the hotel to book our Halong Bay cruise which was also fabulous.
Rooms are small but compact and very comfortable. There is a laptop in the room with free wifi. The only downside is there is no lift in the building and we were on the 5th floor! Staff kindly carried our bags up and down for us but it's worth noting for travellers who aren't able to walk up and down stairs easily. Breakfast is a la carte and very nice. |
